Having successfully completed the first phase of the programme at UBD, the students are awarded the Bachelor of Health Science degree.
The first phase consists of three years at UBD after which students are transferred to one of the Partner Medical Schools (PMS) for the second phase of the programme. Health Sciences Our Community Patient Care Personal and Professional Development are overtly studied throughout and there is clinical experience from the start. It is a fully integrated course in which the four main curricular areas, i.e. The Bachelor of Health Sciences programme runs over three academic years in Institute of Health Sciences UBD, with enrolment in August and completion in July three years later. The aim of this program is to educate students in basic medical sciences to a level that will enable them to matriculate to partner medical schools in order for them to complete their full medical education.
